Tiny Golden Chest of Drawers

 This little thrift store chest of drawers which is approximately 3 feet tall  1 1/2 feet wide and about one foot deep, was in the worst looking condition when I bought it. It has 2 deep drawers and 2 shallow drawers. It had old stickers attached. I cleaned it with a moist cloth then alcohol all over inside and out . ( I have used alcohol on lots of items, in the past. I found it doesn't damage most things and is a great cleaner. Rubbing alcohol that is. It doesn't take long to dry.) Then I spray painted it gold on just the outside. It looks great and best of all you wouldn't believe how much it holds. (I used Rust-Oleum brand of spray paint. It is Specialty Metallic gold paint and cost under $5.00.) The chest of drawers cost under $10.00. The chest is made of thin plywood so it is easy to move around the room, which was a main consideration for me. I was very happy with this redeaux and gold is a great way to lighten and brighten a room!!!
