I don't eat sardines, but some members of my family love them. These cans are a great recycling treat. I clean can thoroughly, using clothes detergent. Turn sardine can upside down , use for a soap dish that looks like brass......Or open side up on a desk to hold paper clips......On a dressing table to hold hairpins.......In a sewing room to hold safety pins.......Can also be used in drawers for organizing crafts, keeping loose change in, buttons etc. I love the look of brass as I use so much gold color in my decor. How wonderfully free touches of gold!!!
