This unique straight shortsleeved dress is a work of art in itself. It
has colorful paintings done in gold, black, blue, and pink, from the
neck almost to the hemline.
Paintings include the Egyptian style
collar necklace, two heads of Nefertiti, the lotus flower, head of Tutankhamun, three pyramids, a sphinx, four camels, the sun, two palm
trees, and more. There are quite a number of dark iridescent beads and
silver sequins sewn on throughout. The dress appears to be made of
rayon. I found this treasure in an LA thrift store for only $6.00. I can
wear it and/or hang it on the wall as art. The earrings are red
feathers with smaller black and white feather from an LA 99 Cent Only
store. Silver colored metal bangle bracelets are from an LA Wal-Mart
for $5.00. The gorgeous ring of red stone surrounded by large faux
diamonds is from
a 99 Cent Only store in LA. The lovely faux diamond and silver bracelet
has a beautifully real look and I've had it for years from a Va.
Wal-Mart store. The shoes were a $5.00 thrift store find. The gold
genuine leather open toe, 3 inch heels, open on each side but with gold
metal side straps and closed heel, are by Equity Evening Wear and made
in England continues the gold theme of the dress.
